Construction is a continuously growing industry that injects funds and new life into communities while creating infrastructure critical to moving the country forward. For over 20 years, Southeast Michigan Construction Academy (SEMCA) has been proud to provide valuable training to the construction industries’ emerging workforce. With a curriculum focused on apprenticeships in electrical, carpentry, sheet metal, and HVAC, SEMCA enables students to begin a rewarding career where they can earn a good income and provide for their families. A partnership with the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation has only increased SEMCA’s reach.

SEMCA holds accreditation with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) who produces industry-recognized credentials that are portable, stackable, and nationally recognized. The apprenticeship program is registered with the United States Department of Labor and is approved by the State of Michigan.
