St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen
St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen (SLSK) is a non-profit, non-denominational soup kitchen that provides sustenance and support to less fortunate members of the Detroit community at no cost. SLSK serves hot meals to 130 people five days a week and 40,000 meals annually. In addition to the soup kitchen, SLSK acts as a hub for other services including healthcare and navigation of government programs. The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation grant helps cover the costs of kitchen operations including rent and staff.
