PULTE FAMILY CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, LIV GOLF PARTNER WITH COLLEGE CAREER & BEYOND | MIDNIGHT GOLF PROGRAM TO EXPAND ACCESS TO GOLF AND SUPPORT CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR METRO DETROIT YOUTH

Initiative will launch alongside the 2025 LIV Golf Team Championship at
The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort Aug. 22-24

DETROIT (August 18, 2025) – The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation and LIV Golf today announced a new partnership with Detroit-based College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf Program, a community-driven initiative designed to advance equity, inclusion, and opportunity through the game of golf.

The partnership, supported by LIV Golf’s Impact and Sustainability initiative, will launch during the 2025 LIV Golf Team Championship at The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort. As part of the program, students from the College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf Program (CCB | MGP) will gain unprecedented access to the world of professional golf, including exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, career training, and the chance to earn a paid internship.

CCB | MGP, a secondary success initiative, has transformed the lives of Detroit’s most academically ambitious and driven students, equipping them with the tools to thrive both personally and professionally.

This partnership brings together the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s longstanding commitment to giving back with LIV Golf’s mission to transform and grow the game of golf and create lasting impact in its host cities. By aligning with CCB | MGP, the initiative ensures the Team Championship not only showcases world-class competition but also leaves a meaningful impact on the Detroit region.

“LIV Golf is committed to making a positive impact in every community we visit,” said Jake Jones, SVP, Impact and Sustainability, LIV Golf. “By partnering with the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation and College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf Program, we’re supporting Detroit’s next generation of leaders and helping build a foundation for long-term opportunity.”

The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation has owned Saint John’s Resort since 2021 and operates it as one of its three Humanitarian Hotels. 100% of net profits go towards charitable initiatives around the world.

“As a Humanitarian Hotel, Saint John’s Resort is deeply committed to charitable programming that reflects our mission of serving those in need,” said Kevin Doyle, COO of the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation. “Our partnership with LIV Golf and College Career and Beyond | Midnight Golf Program will open doors for young people in our community—providing access, training, and opportunities that extend far beyond tournament week.”

The 8-week program will engage 25 students who have participated in CCB | MGP, ranging from first-year college students to sophomores, during three distinct phases:

1. Career Academy: Students will deepen their career and personal development foundations, focusing on employability, leadership, and self-presentation while integrating civic engagement and preparation for professional immersion.
2. LIV Golf On-Course Immersion: At the LIV Golf Team Championship, students will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that blends the excitement of sport with hands-on career exploration. The program features an on-course clinic with LIV Golf players to introduce youth to the game, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes access during tournament week, where students will shadow event staff and gain real-world insight into career pathways in media, marketing, and event production.
3. Internship & Mentorship: All students will have the opportunity to apply for a paid, part-time immersive internship, receive one-on-one mentorship, and inspire the next class of CCB | MGP students.
“For over 20 years, College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf has been helping shape the lives of young people in Metro Detroit,” said Renee Fluker, founder and president of College Career & Beyond | Midnight Golf. “It’s thanks to partners like LIV Golf and the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation that we’ve been able to fund our important programs, provide scholarships, and prepare over 3,000 students for a bright, successful future.”

Throughout the tournament week, Saint John’s will activate several other charitable initiatives, including hosting several of the Foundation’s local nonprofit partners, including Detroit Cristo Rey and the Michigan Hispanic Collaborative, during LIV Golf’s Community Day on Saturday, August 23.

With deep ties to Metro Detroit, the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $6 million in grants to 59 organizations across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Washtenaw Counties over the last three years. This year, the Foundation announced it will lead a $30M restoration of the Basilica of Ste Anne de Detroit and efforts to secure its future with a $20M endowment as part of its newly launched “Catholic Initiative.”

Since 2019, the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation has supported nearly 300 organizations around the world through its grants and donations totaling approximately $170 million. These grants and donations have positively impacted more than 15 million people across 43 countries.
