The Foundation acquired Saint John’s Resort (Plymouth, MI) creating the Humanitarian Hotels, where 100% of the net profits are given to charitable causes around the world. The Inn at Stonecliffe (Mackinac Island, MI), and the Hilton Garden Inn (Laramie, WY) would also become Humanitarian Hotels.

World Peace Plaza

The Our Lady of the Lake World Peace Plaza, located on Notre Dame’s campus, was dedicated on this date. It features a water installation inscribed with a Prayer for World Peace in six languages, which was co-authored by our founder William J. When completed, Monarca will offer 179 two, three and four bedroom single family homes for rent.
