The Foundation has made a bold investment in Monarca, a 50-acre development in Immokalee that will provide 184 affordable rental homes for the essential workers and families who sustain this region. With final permit approvals underway and groundbreaking drawing closer, funding has already been secured for more than 100 of the 184 homes planned for the development.

Monarca is designed to offer more than an affordable place to live—it will provide families with dignity, stability, and the opportunity to build a better life. The development will also include a community center, a lakeside park, walking paths, and welcoming outdoor spaces designed with families in mind.

While the Foundation is leading this effort, government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individual philanthropy are joining together to help make Monarca—and the promise of a more secure future—a reality.
