The Foundation made a transformative investment in The IDDeal Place—Ruttura Family Campus, now open as Palm Beach County’s first independent living campus for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). With more than 8,000 adults with I/DD in Florida still seeking a place to live, The IDDeal Place is addressing a critical and urgent housing gap.

The IDDeal Place offers far more than housing—it gives residents the opportunity to experience dignity, independence, family, and a fuller life. Located on 3.27 acres, the campus includes three buildings and welcoming outdoor spaces designed for peace, safety, connection, and belonging.

The campus was made possible by a remarkable collaboration of state and local government, foundations, corporations, and individual philanthropy—all joining together to create a forever home where these forever children can thrive.
