President of Humanitarian Hotels
We are thrilled to welcome Chris Green as the President of Humanitarian Hotels!
In his new role, Chris oversees the Foundation’s Humanitarian Hotel properties, which direct 100% of their net profits to the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation. These properties include Saint John’s Resort, Golf & Conference Center in Plymouth, MI; The Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island, MI; and the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie, WY.
Chris brings over 30 years of distinguished hospitality experience to the team. He is the founder of Cedar Road Investments, LLC and Chris Green Advisory Services, and formerly served as President at Remington Hospitality, a premier hotel management firm with more than 130 properties across the U.S. and Caribbean. Before that, he was President & CEO of Chesapeake Hospitality until its merger with Remington in 2022.
Known for building culture-driven organizations and leading complex property acquisitions, operations, and repositioning projects, Chris is a thought leader in the industry. He regularly shares his insights as a guest on the No Vacancy podcast, in Hotel Executive and Hotel Business, and through a recurring column for Hotel News Now. He is also the author of The River Guide to Leadership, reflecting on lessons learned throughout his career.
Chris was drawn to Humanitarian Hotels and the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation because it allows him to combine his passions for hospitality and serving others in a meaningful way.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with his wife of 28 years, Karla, and their three children — Christopher, Ansley, and Presley. When they can, the family loves exploring new destinations in their RV.
