Academy of the Sacred Heart (ASH) is the oldest independent school in Michigan. It was founded by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (R.S.C.J.) in 1851 in Detroit. ASH moved to its current location in Bloomfield Hills in 1958. The school educates students in an environment attentive to the development of the whole person, preparing each child to assume leadership roles in professional, civic, and academic careers. This is achieved under the guidance of five goals, shared by an international Network of Sacred Heart Schools: faith, academics, service, community, and wise decision making.

The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation is honored to help ASH reach as many students as possible. Learn more at www.ashmi.org.
