Ferris State University (FSU) is the ninth-largest university in Michigan with a student population of approximately 14,560. In 2019, the Foundation provided FSU with a $1 million donation. The donation was used to establish the William J. Pulte Construction Scholarship in FSU’s School of Built Environment. The donation also supports FSU’s Construction Management Experiential and Technical Learning Endowment, the Construction Technology and Management program in FSU’s College of Engineering Technology and the William J. Pulte Construction Practices Lab in the Granger Center for Construction and HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration). The Pulte Scholarship Program provides for one endowed and one renewable full-ride scholarship for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

Bill highly valued the tradesmanship, deliberation and problem solving involved with each project. FSU values the same. The Foundation is proud to help FSU develop leaders in the construction industry.
