Karen Pulte
Karen serves on the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors and as the Director of the Pulte Scholarship Program, which offers scholarships for public and private schools, trade schools, colleges, and universities.
Karen is a global philanthropist. Karen and her late husband, Willam J. Pulte (1932-2018) helped create International Samaritan, a non-profit specifically formed to combat the ravages of garbage dump towns. Their philanthropy began in Guatemala and grew to include Paraguay, Ethiopia, Egypt, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Sierra Leone. Karen served on the board of International Samaritan for twenty-five years.
Karen is a long-standing member of The Founders Scholarship Fund Advisory Board, where she works to provide academic scholarships to Collier County, Florida high school students.
